Somerset live...or dead.
It’s dead in the case of City, our last mention being the play offs. No mention of the cup draw apart from Yeovile, the darlings of Somerset.

I will drop them a message next week. The person I correspond with for the paper is currently on annual leave so I haven’t brought it up.
I know they’ll argue that they don’t get enough hits to warrant updating but I like to think I could deliver enough readable content!

That would be brilliant.

Re: Somerset live...or dead.
I can’t believe that Yeovil fans use that site for updates on their club. Surely it’s own website and social media fulfils that function. The days of relying on the local newspaper for information on your club are long gone except perhaps for the offline community. As Junior implies, their websites are just an advertising outlet and unless you have something like Adblock are almost impossible to read properly.
I suppose there’s the argument that club updates may attract floating or new support but I’m not convinced by it.

I'll see what they say. I think it looks a bit silly to have nothing on there since July. I think Henry updated it quite frequently when he worked there but he left in February and only did home games. I had a couple of away reports uploaded, frustratingly these were the Havant and Wealdstone defeats.
Even if they just put up my match reports it's a start. Otherwise I send them to Simon and they go on the fixtures/results link.

The quality of journalism is so poor that I am surprised anyone attempts to read it at all and that is without considering ads. There are so many even adblocker struggles to filter them out.

Re: Somerset live...or dead.
I’ve been given another contact who I’ll email tomorrow.
My idea is to put match reports up and maybe another written interview which isn’t on YouTube. I currently rewrite the manager/player ones for the paper. All depends on my own schedule, I’ve somehow gone from unemployment to three jobs in the space of a month.
I’ll pass on what is said.

Where is that "algorithm" that changes rugby into I love (a certain rival club along the A4)

I've just emailed them and will see what they say. My idea is for the match reports and another interview to go up once a week, one which is exclusive. Whether that's from someone working behind the scenes or a current/ex player, never know. I spoke to Jim this morning about his FA Cup experiences with us for example, that'll be in the printed edition this time but easily could go online.

We actually got a mention today, ironically about a game not being played!
