Clarkey kept us in it first half when our midfield was non existent. Tom Smith was then brilliant second half and we were more competitive. Putting Mann up front paid off as he took his goal well although having Brunt lead the line seemed the more obvious way to deal with the conditions which were atrocious. I thought Raynes looked more solid than he has recently despite playing in an unfamiliar position.
