Interesting to see the increased rate in bigger attendances since the community bid was successful. Obviously, the Chippenham game would be a biggie anyway but, still, good to see.

Definitely.

The crowds this season in particular have been very encouraging. After 6 games the average is approaching 1,000. Admittedly that's been heavily influenced by the Welling game - but even if that is removed, the average is still 837 so far. Our smallest home league crowd so far this season was 689 (Hungerford), and we still have the home Chippenham game on New Year's Day to come too.

So it's early days yet, but the whole community club vibe and hard work does seem to have increased crowds both this and last season - so huge credit to all involved in that. Fingers crossed the crowds keep coming/growing.
