Winners of the Hungerford/Wantage ‘replay’. Apparently it was abandoned late on today at 0-0 because Axel’s brother - who was sub when Hungerford played us - suffered a serious head injury. Doesn’t seem like it was a particularly popular decision.

Good draw - Lewes in the Bostik League, in 10th position. Kings Langley in Southern League Premier South 3rd from bottom. Replay Wednesday.

Lewes are currently unbeaten away in the league, but haven't won at home, although they have only played 6 games so far.

Kings Langley, near Watford with ground out in the country near M25, have had a meteoric rise from county league football in recent years. Have done remarkably well to hang in the Southern Prem for a couple of years.

Had it been Kings Langley immediately after that rise it could’ve been a sticky one. Last two/three seasons I believe they’ve struggled a bit having hit their peak.

Lewes won promotion last season and the club seems to be thriving at the moment. I expect them to win the replay. Glad we are home - I’m in Devon until that Saturday morning, didn’t fancy a mammoth jaunt to the Dripping Pan. Would’ve probably given it a miss but Kings Langley would be a tempter as a new ground for me.
