Reading friendly 7 July

In case you non-Facebook or non-website people haven't yet seen it, the Reading game is now 1pm. Something to do with some other team possibly playing at 3pm.

Does anyone know why the England game is being shown in the J Reynolds Lounge rather than Charlie’s.....? Another function on?

I’m really unsure what to do and whether to go to match tomorrow. If it was in Charlie’s there’d be the big screen and much better....the tellies in the lounge are tiny, and from memory the reception on the TVs isn’t great....feels like a bit of a missed opportunity. It’s going to be a scramble to find somewhere else to go to watch it if the game finishes at 2:45pm

There’s a wedding downstairs.

I’ll dash off, miss the start and watch it at home. I loathe watching England in pubs. To be fair, the lounge upstairs is good, albeit a bit small.

A good friendly v Reading today, with over 100 people there! 1-0, a great goal, and it was good to welcome their Academy manager, Lord Ged Roddy. (This is not a joke; he was there)
