Shortwood United resign from the Southern League

Our old pals from the Cotswolds, Shortwood United, have sadly relinquished their place in the Southern League. After losing their main sponsor from the end of the season, and struggling to keep up with the ground improvements required to stay at their current level, they've taken the difficult decision to drop back down to the Hellenic League.

Proper shame that, as they've always seemed like a proper club run by really nice people.
