Going well at 4-1 up.
An overdue home win I hope?

What a comeback. Late goals at Hampton and St.Albans help. Gonna have to go to Wealdstone now.

Yes a win there and I think we have a real chance.

Just goes to show what a difference a goal makes. Until the point at which we scored the equaliser I thought we were poor and made Gloucester look a better side than they were. Once we scored the game changed completely and we could have gone in at half time more than 2-1 up, especially if that Jack Compton free kick had gone in!
I think Semenyo’s arrival made a lot of difference, because up until then we weren’t really putting the Gloucester defence under pressure, so perhaps Sean Rigg’s injury was a blessing in disguise. I still don’t think we know where best to play him, and he doesn’t seem to know where he is playing either at times.
Although Gloucester were one of the poorer teams we have played this season it was really nice to see us put them away. I think Semenyo deserved his mom and it would be nice if we could get him on a long loan next season as I wonder whether in time he could be another McCoulsky.

Semenyo was really up for it today battling hard as a target man. He was exactly what we have been crying out for. I was surprised how strong he was.
I think Rigg needs to change his mindset. He should be the stand out player in this team but he appears to be a bit part player. I wasn't sorry when he went off although to be fair the entire team was pedestrian. (although he appeared to need crutches so that wasn't so good).
They needed the Gloucester goal to wake them up. And when Semenyo came on it all clicked. Smith and Edwards both had their best games for some time and Miles was very good at times.
We do tend to not concentrate on doing the basics. Most of Gloucester's successful moments came from our sloppiness. And that has been a feature throughout recent games.
But it was a very good win and I don't think Gloucester were all that bad we just had too much for them today.
