I agree with Jerry that the tactics were about right; we just didn't play that well, as evidenced by the number of sloppy passes that went straight to their players. On balance though, we had the best chances and could easily have won. It wasn't pretty, but if you set up the team to create chances and defend stoutly, then that bit worked. They only drew because of a bad mistake by us. Luke also redeemed himself with a very good save in a one on one. It was also nice to be congratulated by a few HH fans for making the journey on a Tuesday night in such numbers. Of course my journey wasn't that long, but the camaraderie of non-league football does go a long way in making supporting a club like BCFC worthwhile.
