Penalty stats across the league
We've been awarded the most (10) and have failed to score the most (four). Our 60% success rate is second worst to Hungerford, who've missed one of the two penalties they've been awarded. It was against Chippenham and worth watching, as the same player scores about 30 seconds later in their next attack, which shuts the crowd up!
Only Weston and Hampton have failed to score two of their penalties this season. For one of Weston's, Dayle Grubb slipped and kicked the ball twice.
Hungerford have also conceded the most (nine) but only six have been scored. Truro have also seen three squandered against them (four from seven).
Bognor Regis have been awarded the fewest penalties - a paltry one - which was scored.
10 teams have scored every penalty awarded to them this season, with Chelmsford successful eight times from eight, including one against us.
There have been 102 awarded overall with 85 converted.

I'm surprised the success rate is so high for this level - 83%. The top players rarely miss - as shown by Kane's unstoppable effort today and Ronaldo's against PSG on Wednesday. Do you have the stats for the Premiership?

61 awarded, 44 converted. 72%.
The numbers have really shot up since around 2003, it seems.

Can I bet now we’ll be in a playoff penalty shoot out!

I'm surprised we've only missed four. It seems like more.

You remember them more because they hurt so much.
