Early home goals. Empty Early home goals.

To save me having to trawl the results and goal times, does anyone know how many goals we have conceded in the first 15 minutes of the game. I only say as, as some of you may have witnessed, I am usually in the Royal Oak still at kick off time so end up getting to the ground late and we always appear to have missed an opposition goal. This seems especially true in the second half of the season. Am I right about this?

(Any cracks about maybe we wouldn't concede goals if all the supporters turned up on time will not be countenanced)

I haven't trawled through the times either but I think it's about eight, just looking at the games and guesswork really, most of them are at home.

We probably wouldn't concede early goals if supporters turned up on time though.

of equal interest would be some stats on how much an early goal influences the result. remember the old saying 'it's better to concede in the 1st minute than the last'. an early goal conceded can serve as a wake up, while an early one scored can lead to complacency. remember the superb 1st minute move finished off by low at basingstoke last season - it was just about the last decent football by us in the game and we deservedly lost.

I never felt for a minute we would lose this game. But I did think it was another example of sleepy defending. Against another side it could have been more painful.

what was the question?
