4-0 down at half-time against Walton & Hersham. Distracted, methinks.

They're resting their first XI for the big game!

Actually they're not - I listed the 18 involved from their last FA Cup game and I think 15 of them are in tonight's squad, including their leading scorer.

They're in my good books anyway as they've actually sent programme info. Unlike Oxford City...

Good grief........18 listed players now for FA Cup games?
We've struggled to name a team of 11, then 2 plus a keeper in recent weeks.
Expect to see Sir James on the team sheet on Saturday.
Cue the song............

Seven subs have been allowed in the FA Cup for a couple of seasons, now. Not that it matters with us.

They lost 5-1. 11 conceded in their last two league games. Although they're much tighter in the cups.

Not sure where that's come from. I'd agree if we were bottom of our league but if we play like we have in the last few games we will win, simple as.

We are starting to play well. Nothing to fear on Saturday. Of course an upset is always possible but we look like a competitive side now so have to be confident.

I like the fact the club have lowered the gate price and I expect an easy win.

Would have been nice to see the game promoted a bit more (hard I know), but its the FA cup and we should be showcasing the club to potential supporters.

We went into that match on the back of some pretty patchy results, though.

We'll have to see. If Knaphill play like a lower mid-table Combined Counties team we will win, simple as. The gulf in class between that and our level is huge. I've played against Western League players for goodness sake. Me. In one game against a team packed of them my Sunday side held them to 0-0 at half-time once. Still lost, obviously.

From the look of things they have one player with real quality, a lad called Jimmy Norman. Scores a hatful of goals and lethal from set-pieces. If the rest of them perform to that level it might be harder than expected. But if we put in a performance we've produced recently we'll win.

Lets hope Jim can normalise things tonight and keep them focused and away from the side show going on. Hope no little niggles surface that might prevent players from being cup tied.......
