Home to Knaphill....

A quick Google search shows they're 13th in the Combined Counties League Premier (equivalent of the Western Premier), and it's a village near Woking and Aldershot.

So far in the cup this year they've had the following results:

Extra Prelim - Knaphill 0-0 Bournemouth FC
Replay - Bournemouth FC 0-2 Knaphill

Prelim - Laverstock & Ford 2-4 Knaphill

1Q - Guildford City 1-3 Knaphill

Can't really ask for a much better draw than that.

It's their fourth season entering the FA Cup and this is their best performance to date.

Yep....we dont win many at all in recent years.

I think it is also the first home draw against a level 9 (or equivalent) since Bideford in 2001 ... and that didn't end well.

Perhaps Mr Knapp should be sent an invitation....

These games are always tricky if you're facing an in-form team who're riding high in their league or have caused a few upsets. As we found in matches against the likes of Bodmin and Buckland when we only just scraped through.

With Knaphill below mid-table in their division, a position they finished last season as well, there should be no excuses. I expect them to have a go as they have nothing to lose, but we really should progress. The pathetic exits in the last two years should be enough of a reminder that what'll happen if we become complacent.

It's the equivalent to us being drawn away to someone like Portsmouth or Plymouth. I'd expect us to have a go but ultimately fall short.

Yep we all know the logic Mark...and many have seen City confound it several times hence the gallows humour.

I don't think we've ever lost at home to a side three divisions lower than us. Only possibility is Fareham Town in 1975 when the tie was switched to Twerton Park, but I can't work out where they were in the pyramid. We were Southern Premier.

The last time we lost to a side three divisions lower was in 1984 against Frome Town.

I also believe it's our 100th season in the FA Cup.
