Chelmsford v City

Good 1st 30m. Should have had 2 or 3. Axel error let them back in. Ref performance will be the headline but 3 mistakes by us difference v play off team. Kept battling and playing. Early part was ours. Kept ball and got into their area but wanted extra touch too often. Marvin battled. Nick and Andy not really at it.

A very fair summary. Chelmsford's defence was as hopeless as Concord's during the first half hour and they were there for the taking. The difference was that we weren't as clinical as a fortnight ago. Feel very sorry for Axel who has been brilliant for us and didn't deserve that nightmare few minutes.
Chelmsford started to show why they are where they are in the second half but based on performances against us, it will be Dartford v Maidenhead/Ebbsfleet in the play off final!
