Wellington in the Somerset Cup tonight!

Can we assume that our ground's magical restorative properties have already recovered from the biblical deluge of the last 48 hours, and the match of the season so far is definitely going to be played?

I flipping love the Somerset Cup - I know it's probably just me, Basil and one of the blokes with a dog, but I really can't wait for tonight, and I hope it's still on!

I share your excitement, Roy, but wonder if the club are worried that the pitch may not have time to recover before Saturday's even more vital fixture!

I would be surprised if that was allowed by the all power Somerset FA as a legitimate reason for postponing tonight's game.

Went and did hills with the running club instead...

I bet players like Elcock and Fleetwood would have been looking forward to having a game.

Fleetwood played for Weymouth last night. He's there for another month.
