This week's fan's view
Interesting to read in Pete's article Adie Britton's comment about the 6 drawn games we should have won. Perhaps if we had been less negative in the home games against Tonbridge, Staines and Boreham Wood and not sat back on one goal leads we wouldn't have dropped 6 points against three poor teams, not to mention the 3 that went begging against Basingstoke.

possibly - although you could equally argue had we gone gung-ho in those games we might have lost them all and dropped nine points against three poor teams - who knows?
that aside my memory of at least two of the three games were that we played somewhere between those two extremes but missed chances to get that vital next goal - unlike like games against Chelmsford, havant, Farnborough, concord, whitehawk, for example - then got caught when the opposition threw men forward late one - we scored late many times during our first season in the conf prem and I don't recall people saying we only scored because the opposition sat back on their lead

I think Adie just said that of 12 drawn games we should have won 6. A simple statement and I don't think it needs over analysing. Football is a world of what 'might have' or 'should have' been.
