Copied from website:
"City have signed Harry Hickford on a three-month loan deal from Vanarama National League side Forest Green Rovers. The 20-year old can play at full-back or in midfield and has previously played for Milton Keynes Dons. He also spent loan spells with Torquay United, Dagenham & Redbridge and Hemel Hempstead Town."

Re: New Player
Sounds like he impressed with Hemel and Chelmsford during loan spells.
Also the adopted brother of Dele Ali so might have a well known face on the Twerton terraces watching him.

Re: New Player
Looks like a good signing and we were definitely short of options in the defensive department.

Re: New Player
Depending what you read it also sounds like he can play central defence as well. Had a look on the Forest Green website and sounds as if they rated him pretty highly although doesn't appear to have featured for them this season.
Will be interesting to hear Gary's reason for signing him, as didn't really think we needed another defender or midfielder, especially with Frankie coming back. By my reckoning that gives us a squad of 20 if we include him and O'Leary which seems a bit excessive, so I wonder if we will see a couple of them (Batten, Elcock?) going out on loan.

Sounds good to me. Good to have a bit more defensive cover.
Wouldn't be surprised to see Elcock leave as he hasn't played this season...

Re: New Player
I hope this signing doesn't mean Frankie's medical check on Thursday didn't go well.

Re: New Player
Frankie and Andy looked good in the warm up to the East Thurrock game. I hope Steve's scan went well this week.
