As it now looks certain that our usual watering hole, the Greyhound has now shut permanently (what did we do last month to cause that?), I propose we visit the other (now the only) Wetherspoons in town......the Bear, 8-10 High Street, SL6 1QJ.

We went to The Bell, which was just past the Greyhound on the left. Huge pub and excellent food, started the day well.
