David
Sorry to be picky, but which HPA?
Great Western
Hammerpot
Wye Valley
Hancocks PA
I suspect you've got Wye Valley Herefordshire Pale Ale which is a lovely beer. Unfortunately, or maybe not !!, I will be in Maidenhead this Saturday.

Re: The Old Crown
Gentlemen (and ladies), I have to admit I was nervous about putting something different in, but the HPA is nearly gone! Fear not, there's more coming for next Saturday......and how about Moles Gold, Moles Tap or Mole Landlord as a once only appearance?
Oh, and that coach I saw yesterday, why didn't anyone suggest I open for a pint before you all left?

Because I got on at Corsham, Dave!!!!
Moles used to run your pub for many years, so your regulars will be familiar with their beers. Not that you shouldn't put on some of Roger's fine ales!

Re: The Old Crown
Um, they still do! I work for Cascade//Moles....it's complicated.....we have to buy through Enterprise who don't carry Moles. You might be amused to know that Roger was in the toilets scrubbing the day before we reopened!

Re: The Old Crown
Ok, not wanting to Fred on any toes and not wanting to give anything away, if there was the option of a pie and a pint before coaches left would there be my interest?

Re: The Old Crown
Most away games leave earlier than that trip, due to nearly every away game being based near London!
I know the Golden Fleece used to do breakfast for fans one season. I'm not sure how popular that was, it might be worth trying to find out. Mostly fans will buy sandwiches to eat on the coach from the high street.
It's great to see you're keen to try and develop links with the club early on. Looking forward to visiting sometime soon!

Re: The Old Crown
Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm going to spoil you!
This weekend, along side the usual Gem and Best I'm going to have to choose - two out of the three of Wye Valley HPA (most probably this one will be on as its already up and running with more in), Moles Gold and Exmoor Hound Dog - start your pitches as to which two!

Re: The Old Crown
There is a march to the match from town this Saturday so I hope we can call in on the way to the ground.

If just pulled the Hound Dog through and had a sneaky half - yup, that'll do!
The Gem is fresh on today, the next HPA is ready to go....
