Hemel Hempstead pub
My suggestion for a pub for Hemel Hempstead if anyone is interested:

We've been there before. Usual Kermit 5 minute hop!

Re: Hemel Hempstead pub
Last time I went to Hemel I think we lost just pre Xmas in the promotion year from the Southern league. A 1-0 defeat and Relish/Britton used it as the catalyst to go on and win the league.
Confident we can get something tomorrow.

Let's hope that we see some of those that have been saying on this forum that they were staying away from watching City under the previous management. At the two games I've been to since Gary Owers took over (against Sutton and Havant) it's been pretty much the same old faces.

I see Taylor out with a calf injury as well as Batten gone, that changes the dynamics a bit, Hemel score and concede and in Slabber have a regular scorer at this level. We will need to muscle it out on what will be another sand covered pitch.

Who can play CB with Ball? That's a worry. Please don't say Gallers
Where is Luke Matthews these days?

I suspect Gally and Ball with Simmo and greenslade as full backs. Might he sit Chas in front of that back 4?

'Sit' being the operative word!
If Simmo still injured then Dan can start at Right Back, but it would have to be Gally in the middle with Bally I suppose. Hope Matt is back soon - two games again next week.
I have been asking around all season about Luke Matthews but nobody knows if he is going to be given another chance. As far as I know he is on dual registration terms. The poor lad hadn't done anything wrong in being sent to Supermarine - he just got injured. I rated him in the pre-season friendlies, and I hope he will, at least be given another trial next season. If I get the chance to raise his name with Gary I will do so.

Yes - it looks like it. If so, a good selection of ales.
