City v. Bromley
Pratt returns after suspension to partner McCootie up front, with Walshy presumably sitting out due to his suspension. Stearn starts, Gallinagh and Perry part of the bench.

Re: City v. Bromley
Defensive mix up presented Bromley with the opener, then a soft penalty. Playing quite well until the first goal.
Upped it from start of second half and deservedly got two goals. Second one came from a great piece of trickery from Stearn who set up the chance, Watkins eventually putting it away.

Re: City v. Bromley
First half we were second best, a defensive mix up allowed their nippy no.10 through and after some wizardry on the left Bromley's best player, no.11, was awarded a certain penalty which he scored with precision in the bottom corner giving Jason no chance.
Then the 2nd half Renaissance, one way traffic, the proverbial game of two halves. Great entertainment from despair to elation and the emotions were satisfied. Â

Similar to the 1st leg with Ferriby. Defensive errors led to us falling behind in the 1st half, followed by a spirited come back after the break. Bromley look like they're going to bottle the title again - they should be very grateful to Wealdstone today for their win at B/Stoke.

And people say we sit back after we take a lead? Had that gone on another 10 minutes or so we would have won. Bromley looked in control in the first half and we didn't overly test the keeper. Second half the complete opposite.

Enjoyed todays game, very entertaining with both sides trying to play football on the ground. Pity their keeper was time wasting for most of the second half.... should have been booked IMO not just because it's unsporting but because supporters pay good money to watch a game a football, which brings me to the other pity and that's the poor attendance which has been given as 515. I recon there was about 60 from Bromley, so it was a poor turnout from the locals even allowing for the fact that we won't feature in the playoffs

Re: City v. Bromley
Yes the crowd was disappointing but is that all Bromley can muster for their promotion push? Frustrating first half was followed by a storming second and a dramatic equaliser. We had the best chances throughout the game and could easily have won. I hope they do bottle it. One moron fan walked past us at the start of the second half and gestured that the score was 2-0. In case we didn't get that he repeated. No-one paid him any attention but I hope he's feeling embarrassed.

Two soft goals in the first half and then a good fightback.
We have the makings of a good side but need a couple of 'streetwise' leaders. An Adie Harris type in central midfield would make a big difference.

Hardly a surprise the crowds are low, end of the season with nothing to play for.
Glad we got that draw after all the time wasting, the defender who was down by the post after the equaliser even told the physio "I'm ok just wasting time".

He really was a prat. Gobbed at the ref for ages following his deserved booking for a clear foul, and in his face wanting similar after the slightest infringement by any of our players.

Re: City v. Bromley
Surely Mark is referring to the frequent criticism of our team that we don't go for the kill when taking the lead, preferring to sit back and invite our opponents to attack us. He was pointing out that in fact other teams do exactly the same.
Am I correct, Mark?
