FA Cup Next Season

I see there are to be no replays from the 1st round proper onwards. Apparently because of expanding European competitions. Bad news for smaller clubs losing out on televised replays. As usual the FA pandering to the wishes of the Premier League. Of course it doesn't affect us as we never reach the 1st round.

I'm sure there are some pupils at secondary school that dont know City play in the FA Cup.

One of the paybacks is more Premier League money being available for the likes of us. The smart new covered end at Worthing was partly funded from this source.

If there had been no replays in the past we could have gone on to beat Stoke in extra time. Probably 3-0 or something like that.

Would love the Bath End covered. More noise with a roof. Wonder how much it would cost?

We seem to be virtually the only EFL or NL club which hasn’t issued a statement condemning the abolition of replays!

Mainly due to lower level teams knocking us out at first attempt.

Welling actually had a St Albans style scaffolding structure at one end last season but now it’s gone. Health and safety?
