Alison Gibbons
The Supporters Club was shocked to receive the news that Alison passed away yesterday. Along with her family she had been a loyal supporter of Bath City and a conscientious member of our committee for several years.
As membership secretary she had worked hard to boost the membership and assisted in the tea bar at home matches. For many years she watched matches from behind the home dugout and her support for the various managers extended to sponsoring them.
She enjoyed following the team to away matches on the coach and assisted Cheryl Bradley with health and safety issues.
She was of course a contributor to this forum for many years and enjoyed taking part in the various competitions.
The Club has lost a very loyal supporter.
We would like to extend our sympathies to Paul, Claire and John at this very sad time.
RIP Alison

Another terrible loss following the sudden death of City fan Tim Morgan last week.

This sad news came as a terrible shock to me. Alison was such a dedicated supporter and worked so hard for the club. I have happy memories of her behind the counter in the tea bar at home games and a constant fan on the coach to away games. She was a regular participant (and last years winner) of my Guess the Gate competition. My heart goes out to Paul, Claire and John . . . . you are in my thoughts and prayers at this sad time.
RIP Alison.

Alison’s funeral will be at Haycombe Crematorium (bottom chapel) on Monday 5th June at 1.45pm. The wake will be in the TR Hayes Lounge afterwards. Dress code is colourful.
