Game on. Think the lads will need and appreciate support for this game. Get there if you can

Agreed Gerry, but with no supporters coach, and a GWR train strike that makes it impossible to return from London on Saturday night, I don't think many will be able to.

Just a warning that the road between Dunkerton and Odd Down P&R will be closed Saturday so not sure if all the pick ups are useable?

Luckily the only affected stop is Odd Down - so far nobody is getting on there.

Re: Billericay thread
City's class and finishing eventually saw off a hard-working Billericay side to get into the last 64 of the Trophy after the most challenging build up to a game the club has ever had. Alex Fletcher was never far from everyone's thoughts as the players warmed up in white tops all with a no.7 on them, players, fans and officials alike stopped to applaud on the 7th minute, and the players celebrated each of the goals by holding up a City shirt with the no.7 on the back. And the scenes at the end as players and fans embraced each other rounded off an emotion charged today that resulted in the ideal result on the pitch for City.
The game itself saw a patient, passing City, shorn of Cooke as well as Fletcher up front, take the lead through a well struck shot from Frear into the top corner after 16 mins. Billericay then proceeded to have most of the possession in the half without worrying Clarke too much apart from a couple of routine saves. The pacy Billericay left winger John Ufuah was giving Joe Raynes a hard time and most of the dangerous attacks came from that side. City began the 2nd half in the same manner, and it looked like it was Billericay again going to dominate the ball, until a Hayfield shot was deflected in for the 2nd. Any breathing space City might have was reduced when the speedy Ufuah cut in and hammered past Clarke to get the crowd and Billericay back in the game. City's patient style continued and despite a couple of nervy crosses they put the game away with a brilliant well worked move down the left that saw a reverse ball into Spokes's path who blasted in the 3rd off the crossbar.
So the large City travelling support was rewarded with a gutsy win that said a lot about the togetherness of players and management to prepare and deliver such a result. As the players and fans departed in the Essex drizzle our hopes and prayers returned to City's no.7 and his ongoing battle, keep fighting Fletch! the whole football family is with you.

Re: Billericay thread
Great summary Luton.
Only thing I would add is that Billericay appeared to be very respectful hosts.
