I read the sad news on social media that Mike has recently passed away. He was a very tough defender who joined us from Bristol Rovers in 1965 and was an ever present for the next three seasons before signing for Salisbury. He was a firm favourites of supporters who affectionately called him Crunch because of his tackling and was often seen at reunions of players from that era.
