New Guess the Gate Competition 2021/2022 season

Hi everybody,
I expect you are all excited about the beginning of the new season being so close now . . . . . AND . . . . . . fans being allowed in to league matches for the first time in ages
I just wanted to flag up the "Guess the Gate" competition on here.
Everyone is welcome to join in and it could not be easier.
Look under "Guess the Gate" Competition on the main menu of the forum to enter for the new season. It is fun, simple and quick to enter. All you have to do is try to guess how many people will attend each home match and post your entry into the appropriate dated thread. The first match is against Billericay on 14th August so you can add your first entry on that thread any time between now and Saturday.
The rules are simple : post your prediction for each match at least 1 hour before kick off, so 2:00pm on Saturday's and 6.45pm on weeknights, scoring as follows...
SPOT ON = 100 points
5 or less away = 50 points
6 -10 away = 25 points
11 - 20 away = 20 points
21 - 30 away = 15 points
31 - 40 away = 10 points
41 - 50 away = 5 points
More than 50 away = 0 points . . . . . . BUT . . . . in a change to last years rules I will give 1 point to the person who is nearest regardless of how far away their prediction is.
I will post a table of points that people receive after each home match . . . . . AND . . . . .
There will be a small prize for the person who has the most points at the end of the season

I have transferred them to the special "Guess the Gate Thread" . . . . . otherwise I might forget to give you points if you are entitled to any after Saturdays match
