Well, my apologies, after all my encouragement in trying to get people to put a higher figure the gate was actually . . . . . 528
Perhaps you all knew something that I did not know .
Where was everybody ? Was it really down to the weather Christmas shopping people saving their money for Christmas    playing a lower side
Only one person came close to scoring any points and that was Luton Roman and he only missed out by 2  
Perhaps I should have followed the example of the esteemed Comrade Powell (in his first goal scorer competition) and introduced points for whoever gets the closest. Bit late in the season now . . . . . but perhaps next season.

One Gosport fan is claiming it was 1,528 and that they’ve been conned out of some money by us!

They must have brought more fans than we thought

Their low turnout was a stark reminder how quickly fortunes change. I remember when we reached the Trophy semi liaising with their supporters coach guy on how they organised the huge fleet which took them to the Wembley final the year before.
