Public address system.
A decent PA system should be a priority. In a near full stand, today 12/10/19, the PA anouncer was unintelligible.

I agree with the above. It seems to me that on the Popular Side it is either far too loud or not working - generally the former. From comments on the main forum it seems that this is because if it is turned up for the main stand it is too loud on the other side. Hopefully modern technology exists so that this could be resolved.

In this day and age of smart phones, Whats App etc is a public address system still required. Perhaps we could have an electronic display screen for information purposes. Possibly sponsor funded.

It’s a health and safety requirement.

Agree on the electronic display system to provide additional matchday information, and perhaps scope for a screen when we use VAR...

Not all of us have 'smart' phones. I for one am happily 'off grid'.

If we ended up with an electronic board it'd certainly make our lives easier. We could cut back on some things. I personally think we're given too much to read out and have my own views on what is, and isn't, relevant. There's only so much information a person can absorb in a short space of time.
I still think there is a necessity than just health and safety. I, and currently Adam, are trying to create an atmosphere, without being over the top. I wish the speakers could be resolved and I feel the pain - I was under the popular side when Team Bath had the PA system and it was uncomfortable. But it really means you hear nothing on the stand side if turned down, so we can't win.
Adam's got the next three or four home games. If it gets that bad I'm sure he'll do his best to resolve it.
