Artus and Brunt start, with Stearn, Mann and Pryce on a full bench.

City finish 5th and will play Wealdstone at home on Wedmesday night.

0-0 HT sounds like City have acquitted themselves well.

The return of Brunt and Artus, with Tom Smith continuing his excellent recent form we looked much more like the team that went on such a good run mid-season. Stearn also had a really positive outing. Dominating and fluent team performance that became very open once BilleRICKY!! started to play, although they left it very late to try and rescue their playoff chances. We could easily have scored more and should approach the game on Wednesday in good heart.

Agreed Demon. Artus made a huge impact yesterday and I thought that Stearn had one of his best games for us.

And that defence just seems to get better and better...

Hopefully the outstanding victory will send us into the play-offs full of confidence.

Quite clearly the lowest goals conceded, but with a modest scoring record. Interestingly, our opponents on Wednesday have only scored 4 more goals than us, but conceded 16 more. They did very well to sneak into the playoffs and let's hope their defence is feeling generous.
