It was a much better performance. Wealdstone are a very strong side but I thought on the whole we edged it. We created some good chances although they threw their bodies in front of everything.
The new lad Pryce looked terrific, what a header for the goal. And Ryan Clarke made a great save first half.
The mazy run their winger created the goal from was out of synch with everything else he did in the game although he was up against Joe Raynes for much of the time.

I thought it was just about a fair result against a team who are never easy to beat. Some decent football was played by both teams in difficult conditions. A good move by the club to secure what looks like a very promising loanee since our never-ending injury problems were beginning to stretch the squad severely.
