Wealdstone Troubles
Dean Brennan leaving Billericay may have got the attention in National League South this week, but there seems to be chaos in the boardroom at Wealdstone...Chairman has gone (along with his money), Bobby Wilkinson threatening to walk out (him and Chairman seemed to be best buddies and gave him FT manager role). Budget cut and recriminations between board all out in public on their fans forum....Who needs Brexit when you’re a non league fan?!?

Re: Wealdstone Troubles
P.S. reason I’m posting this as these are both deemed playoff rivals...we just seem to be getting stronger both on and off the pitch while (hopefully) some of our rivals with much bigger budgets are having some problems as we get into the business end of the season.

I think they’ve already used 40+ players this season.
Their fans deserve better. I’ve always found it to be a welcoming place.

Yes, troubled times at Wealdstone. And I believe that each of the management departures at Billericay this season followed defeats to Chippenham...

Just noticed that, must be some sort of record. Bizarre.

Both are examples of what happens when people come in from outside and put money into clubs - there are plenty of other examples.
We may not have as much as clubs like that, but what we have got is ours!

At least Michee has an 18 month contract at Ricay...if he can stomach it.

Contracts are worthless if a club (business) goes into receivership then liquidation. The probability of receiving any payment are virtually NIL!
Look out for new AFC...(club name).

Well Michee would get a warm welcome here.

Re: Wealdstone Troubles
Welling have cut their budget now...couple of players already left club, along with some of Steve King Rat’s staff. I know we have to focus on ourselves and what we’re doing, but this will hopefully all help us consolidate that playoff spot.

Welling are not well supported. 445 there on Saturday. So a big playing budget not sustainable. Hopefully this is the season that we can be successful on a level(ish) playing field
