Re: Ex Romans' Thread
The playoff funding was raised for the specific purpose and on the basis of no debt.
Playing on now will increase debt.

James Morton following Cundy to Gillingham.
So 2 years of learning the beautiful game at Twerton is going to be bashed out of him through 5 months under the football maestro that is Steve Evans.

Alex Hartridge was sent off after 9 minutes for Exeter this evening at Newport. They had a second player sent off before half time and played the whole second half with nine players but still managed a draw.

Presumably to replace the players they have furloughed. I see he was sent off in the 94th minute and two other Wealdstone players were booked just before so sounds like an interesting finish!

Re: Ex Romans' Thread
News of his loan signing earlier in the week started an argument on the Stones forum as someone posted footage of his last appearance there! He did have a shocker...

Re: Ex Romans' Thread
Sam Pearson comes on to make debut for Bristol City, Robbie Cundy has an assist in another Gillingham win.
So our former players continue to improve and make important contributions.
Let's hope our current players do likewise next season and we make some real progress. Its been too long.

Hopefully this post should not belong here but Donovan Wilson scored in top of National League Sutton's 1-0 win.

Just watched rerun on BBC Scotland of Scottish cup final 2015. Marley Watkins scoring and creating Inverness winner against Falkirk. A more exciting match than most Wembley finals, albeit National League standard only.

Nice revenge for the Lions today following that cup defeat. Bristol City are in sharp decline it seems.

Louis Britton scored for Bristol City yesterday. Seem to recall he only ever came off the bench for us but always looked a good player and took his goal at Chippenham well.
