Dunstable almost folded pre season as the existing hierarchy wanted to take a 2 division demotion and slash the budget. Fans inc Pipeman, who some will know from his well crafted reports and generous praise of City when we played them a while back, took over and it now appears to be run as an amateur club trying to survive in the SL premier. Time will tell but the first outing at Marlow yesterday for the bunch of nomads didnt seem too bad and true to form Pipeman relects on it here.

Thanks for posting this! Pipeman is a true legend and you can tell from that report his enthusiasm for the non league game and love of his club. Hopefully our clubs' paths will cross again one day (at our level, not theirs...)

What a beautiful writer that fellow is. Harks back to a bygone era, but without being fusty!
(We could always meet them in Cup of Trophy, of course...)

There are some beautiful names in the squad, my favourite being Oluwanamilo Ajigbolamu.

Reality check for this amateur team in the gritty world of the Southern Prem. 3 games 3 defeats 1 goal for 15 against. Merthyr put 6 past them yesterday with ex Roman Fleetwood notching 2.

Dunstable Town keeping their head above the single relegation place in the SL Prem due to the traumas at Gosport. But they are at the forefront of match day techology by making their programmes availble for digital download. Bound to be the future. We already scan Twitter for the team sheets.
Anyway, get your Frome Town prog here. Anyone know any fans....?

An interesting read. I see that they visit Badgers Hill for the last game of the season - hopefully Dunstable are safe by then...
