Best wishes to Stevie!
Supporters may be aware that Steve Tanner was taken ill at the end of yesterday's match at Concord and returned to Bath on the team coach. I'm pleased to say that apparently Steve is feeling a lot better this morning and would like to thank everyone who has sent him their best wishes.
Let's hope he is fit enough to appear for the Eastbourne match!

Clearly the shock of seeing us win!
Good to hear he's on the mend. I've had a couple of messages from Concord fans enquiring about his health.

Good of the club to take him on the coach.

Re: Best wishes to Stevie!
Thanks for posting that Martin - Baz phoned me this morning - he might seem to be an old mother hen at times, but he certainly has a heart of gold. Thanks to Ash, Simon and Marc for your kind comments.
Baz is going to send thanks, on behalf of the Club, to the Concord staff who attended to me. Together with our Club members who 'rallied to the cause', particularly Baz, Shane and Lee Williams (sorry if there were others I haven't mentioned, but my memory of it all is rather confused), I was overwhelmed by the genuine help, concern and attention I was given. Lee was with me the whole time, and the main reason for bringing me back on the team coach was so he could keep an eye on me, as the paramedics that were rung for did not show up by the time the team were ready to leave, so my passage home was negotiated with Berkeley's staff. I want to extend my thanks to all that were on the coach, especially the team and its management who made me feel welcome - some of them appeared to know my first name, as they wished me well, and Steve Phillips came up to me for quite a long chat. On reflection of the evening I can honestly say that I was really touched by the kindness shown by everyone, and it made me very happy to be a part of such a great Club that is Bath City.
I have passed out several times in the past ten or so years, but the last time was about four years ago, after which I stayed in hospital to undergo various tests etc, but I was then discharged without anything wrong being found with me! It was obviously a shock, therefore, to experience such a thing again (let alone nearly breaking a clubhouse door with the back of my head, I was told), so I will be heading (no pun intended!) for the GP'S surgery asap. Hope to see you on Saturday.
I am not sure whether winning or losing is better for your health now!! No - no contest - keep winning lads.

You two are practically neighbours after all!
Glad to hear you're on the mend and much praise for those that looked after you.

Yes, get well soon, Steve. The squad is thin enough without the supporters being unavailable as well.
Good to know the club looks after its fans.

The strength of a "family" is shown when all rally round at times of adversity. The spirit of togetherness is as strong now as it has ever been; well done all.
Hope all is ok Steve?

Ha Ha - Kermit wasn't there, but I can honestly say that it wasn't the demon drink that floored me. I wish, now, that it was.
My head has almost returned to its original shape now, and I'm feeling a lot better today. Hopefully seeing the doc tomorrow.
Thanks to everyone for all your kind messages - see you on Saturday.

Pleased to hear you are feeling better Steve and hope that you will be there on Saturday, continuing to show the dedication to the club that you have supported without fail for so many seasons.

Steve. Just read the forum.....I'm in France at the moment.
So glad to hear you are on the mend.
Don't listen to Sacha.......we will enjoy a pint or two next time, although I'm still over here for the Eastbourne game.....maybe away to Hayes.
Look after yourself.
