unlike last year's 2nd round, this was done on a north south basis...

Yes, I've just realised, it's cost me a lot of points on the draw prediction game just to rub salt into the wounds.
I expect it'll be a big crowd but that is one hell of a dull draw.

I don't know. At least it gives us a chance of progressing and we shouldn't underestimate them. I see they have kept 3 clean sheets in a row

Re: it's Wealdstone away!
We have a good record against them but compared to our previous draws of Gloucester and Bristol Rovers away, this feels like a bit of an anti-climax. I'm sure the players will have more motivation than me.
It could have been worse though. Basingstoke/Gosport would have been awful, or Braintree. And Havant if they win the replay.

Well going by how it was regionalised we were almost certain to get someone in our league! So maybe I should be more grateful that it's not against some of the others who we always lose against.
Ah yes, I expect Dan Ball will have a warm reception.

They reached the trophy semi-final in 2012, but they are beatable.

And if rumours are to be believed, their biggest star will be in the Big Brother house by then!
Hopefully he'll be at ours on Saturday - unless he's busy trying to get his single to Christmas number one, that is...

Re: it's Wealdstone away!
I really don't get all that hype. If someone filmed someone like Mike York at a game he'd be a millionaire by now with "Best keeper in the league" t-shirts on sale and "if they get one they'll get four" hoodies. I've come across tonnes of non-league fans similar to the Wealdstone fella.
But I think it's raised money for charity so good on him.

Re: it's Wealdstone away!
That is a good draw with respect to progressing in the competition. Glad we avoided Conf Prem clubs as it's all about money for me. £6,000 up for grabs for this winnable game.
According to Non League Weekly interview with Gosport's manager they made £300,000 as losing finalists. Not sure about that as a losing finalist coming in at 3rd qual round would make £71,000 prize money in total. Plus gate money of course. If they had won it then £96,000 prize money.
Useful money in this whatever, and BCFC needs it deperately.

Re: it's Wealdstone away!
Not a great draw but there wasn't many potential fun ties left, only FGR/ Didcot or Oxford C would've interesting really. At least Wealdstone get crowds and it'll be a new ground for me so I'm well up for going.
Shame the prize fund per tie stagnates somwhat up until the semis (£750m on ruining Wembley was of course a wiser use of FA funds), but £6k definately worth having given the state we're in.

I'll raise him six home games in 31 days. Admittedly for one of those programmes I spent about half an hour on (Shepton, obviously), but still.
Apparently Weston didn't produce one for their FA Trophy replay against Bedford but there could have been a good explanation.

Re: it's Wealdstone away!
Definitely one to win. I went to the six pointer earlier in the season and we outplayed them there.
Surely if we get through we'll get some home draws!!!!

Re: it's Wealdstone away!
I know we need money but can we leave the financials aside for a bit? Sunday was brilliant and it would still have been brilliant even if the club didn't get a penny.
