If that place is up to Conf standard they would let anyone in. The seated area would barely be enough for the press people let alone spectators. Could probably bung a SPC game up there.

I haven't seen a game there for a while but it always struck me that if there was a crowd over 200 it would be quite chaotic in there, let alone 1,000ish. It's a Western League ground for a club that haven't made any indication that they'd like to play further up the ladder, which is fair enough. If the structure and support isn't in place, stay at a level where you can compete.

If most clubs in our league need to relocate for a while, they're likely to find someone on their doorstep. We don't have that luxury. It's sure to be somewhere which isn't that convenient, but can't do much about it unless we hire rapid builders.

Are you sure that's up to date, Roy? Some of the other stuff on the site is years old and many of the links don't work.

Ooh, good point. At least it's a starting point, as I'd be surprised if any of the stipulations have got smaller or lesser in all that time.

Why in God's name are we not pursuing playing in the Stadium for All Sport in Bath?
Just cos they don't want us is even more reason to play there.
