Yes but are there any football fans in that rather well to do village or do they just wait for a successful bandwagon to build? Their gates will be worth a watch.

As a supporter and volunteer of a semi pro non league club that has been in existence for 100+ years I’m sick and tired of clubs around and below my team spending money they haven’t got. By paying wages well over the norm for the level they’re at, they don’t need to inconvenience themselves with such things as they’re own ground, decent facilities or youth development and when the source of the cash loses interest, let’s just go bust, leave local businesses out of pocket and just set up again the next day under a slightly different name. I feel sorry for the true fans of teams like that, but not as sorry as I do for fans of teams who pay their way and try to live within their means
