The Supporters Club has been contacted by Topping & Company Booksellers of York Street. They are organising Peter Crouch's launch of his new book How to be an Ex-Footballer at Christ Church this coming Monday 10 October. The event takes place at Christ Church on Julian Road.

Would have been a good event to hold at Twerton Park, but I suspect Toppings would want it only in the city centre.

They must be struggling with numbers though if they'e looking to give tickets away. Good of them to think of the SC and offer them regardless.

Actually they contacted us several weeks ago, correctly assuming we’re the leading fans group in the city. 😉

Although you could be right about low demand as the event has been moved from The Forum to Christ Church in Julian Road.
