From JGs comments so far he is emphasising the positive and winning mentality of the group, inferring a difference from last season and thereby a better outcome to the season. Mark might be able to determine any difference between now and 12 months ago in terms of JG comments, and indeed players. I'm ever hopeful and the proof as always will be in the results.

Of course if we have a number of the squad who hardly get any game time then it will not be a stronger squad. Harley, James, Richards, and for long periods Ball and Jones hardly played. I had forgotten about Francois and of course Gerring was a major disruption. That is a significant proportion of a small squad.
