Can we please reschedule the away Hampton and Richmond game on our blank Saturday.

I see Ebbsfleet also lost in the Trophy yesterday so maybe we could rearrange the proposed midweek trek down there to Saturday 18th December ?

For selfish reasons I hope we go to Hampton that day. But I really wish that we were playing a Trophy match instead.

It would make sense to switch the Ebbsfleet game to that Saturday rather than go there on Tuesday just three days after the Havant game. Unfortunately this is the National League so sense is generally in short supply!

Whatever happens I hope we have a game that day. We are the only side missing a fixture between Boxing Day and New Year so would be a bit sparse, don't really want to head into a Chippenham fixture without a match for 15 days. Then again they could be in the same boat. With ten sides knocked out I can imagine a few being in action on the 18th.

Ebbsfleet played last Tuesday, they have Oxford this Tuesday so might fancy the 7th off, but if that's switched I hope they make the decision soon.

I believe the only input from the League is that postponed matches must be played within six weeks. So it’s done by agreement between the two clubs with the date sanctioned by the League. If we were playing a certain south west club I’m sure they’d insist on us going midweek.

I've made it quite clear they'll only get photos of the Ebbsfleet game if they move it to the 18th. So, we'll see what happens.

I imagine the Ebbsfleet game would now be difficult to rearrange given sponsors, volunteers, and other arrangements would now be in place. Hampton, on the other hand, might welcome a Saturday crowd, albeit week before Xmas, v a midweek one and against a team they might feel confident of beating.

Obviously the season's major tug of war between two clubs, the clash between how much BCFC wanted Martin to take the pics versus Ebbsfleet wanting Simon.
