New Signings season 2021/22
Putting to one side the question of Covid19 variants affecting the viability of playing with spectators and / or playing at all.
One central defender Ben Gerring, one midfielder Omar Holness, both 6ft+, one forward Cody Cooke 5ft 11" are three players who will hopefully add power where sometimes, in recent seasons, Bath City lacked that attribute.
Well done Jerry.
To keep us all informed could someone post all the players signed up and add others as they are known.

James was signed on a contract to 2022 when he arrived.

Cooke didn't make much of an impression at Weymouth, but he joined a team that was struggling - jury still out on their manager too. We have a good one for sure so hopefully Cooke will thrive here. He may also link up well with Fletcher who looked lively in his one(?) appearance with us.

It seems apparent looking at other clubs’ transfer activities that they’re either massively gambling, players are taking huge wage cuts or they have very generous benefactors.

I heard Joe Raynes was making good progress a couple of weeks ago.
Gerry’s list looks right.

Re: New Signings season 2021/22
Thought Fletcher looked very sharp in those two games and was looking forward to him forming a partnership with Donovan - hopefully he can do it with Cooke instead.
The Darlington fans on social media have been very complimentary about Omar and are sorry to see him leave.
Hopefully we may find out a bit more about Joey Raynes and Tom Smith from Jerry on Wednesday.

Alex Fletcher - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alex_Fletcher_(footballer) - his goal scoring record for City is incorrect, Wiki needs updating.
I hope City keep Joe Raynes and Tom Smith, both top class at this level.
What is happening on Wednesday with Jerry?

There is a ‘meet the manager’ event on Zoom on Wednesday - details are on the website I think.

I can't find any mention of "MtM" on the website. (Last one was January)
There are details in the email Newsletter 271 Saturday 12th June for 7.30pm, Wednesday 16th June on Zoom.

Re: New Signings season 2021/22
I must admit I’m surprised we signed Fuller after his performance against Exeter - he barely made a token effort to stop any of their goals. He must have done better in training I suppose.

I wasn’t at the game but saw the Exeter goals on You Tube and thought the same thing! Have I missed what is wrong with Ryan Clarke as he hasn’t been involved in any of the friendlies?

Is this the official website you are referring to? Worryingly, there is no sign of Joe Raynes there now.Luton Roman wrote:Updated with the 2 keepers signing today.

It would be good if Joe Raynes could make an appearance Saturday just for 10 -15 minutes at the end to give him a run out.

He has a knee injury - think we've mentioned it a few times on comms but easy to miss. I don't think he'll be back tomorrow but should be by Swansea.
As for Raynes I'd only be happy to see him play once he's 100% fit and ready.

Elliott Frear sounds a good signing. Clearly played at a good level and Scottish Premier!

I liked the look of Mo Dabre in the gloucester game and hoped we might pick him up but I see he has been signed by Swindon. Fair play to the lad, we probably have our full complement of full time players already.
