Good luck to Riggy.... he struck me as a good lad and made the full-back position his own season before last and did well there...was always going to be tough for him last season, based on players we had brought into those positions.

Agree he was a great asset, but as I have said before, he was a super right back but his preferred position was midfield where he was crowded out. After an indifferent start MWH came good and that was him stuffed.

I also thought Ryan case was unlucky. He never recovered from being ripped apart at Hampton but he could ping a very sweet pass.

Maybe neither fit into Jerry's style of play.

No, fair dues, it is a particularly Welsh trait, to an extent. Compton was also a chopsy Welsh bastard and I liked that about him. I don't think that Stearn has any Welsh in him but I often think that he is the non-league West Country Craig Bellamy.

Good luck to George. My favourite memory is probably when he came on as a late sub at Hampton. Haven't watched some of their team drop like flies at the slightest touch, he did a real Chopper Harris on one of their lightweights. Hard but fair tackle and the ref to his credit waved play on.

Miles Welch-Hayes has signed for Macclesfield. A pity for us, but good luck to Miles. Macclesfield won the Conference last season and will be back in the League

Mills has been a target for some time, he lives in Oxford area and I don't think he fancies Conf North. Salisbury also keen on Mills, Pablo Haysham has also left Hereford as he does not want Conf North and signed for Salisbury already. He lives Oxford area as well so it could be they both go to Salisbury and travel together. Interesting to see how this turns out.

Always intrigued into how these rumours begin. Used to be fashionable for it to be from ‘someone at the club who I can’t disclose’, yet it’s ok to name the players etc involved. Not a dig, just always something which has interested me.

John Mills would be a great signing for Bath City.
Perhaps he is going to Oxford City who are waiting to sign a striker who is on holiday.
