Last minute home friendly against Shepton Mallet - 04/08/15
Tomorrow night, Tuesday 4th August (7:30 kick off) - we're playing a swiftly arranged home friendly with our county cousins, Shepton Mallet.
I'm not sure what squad we'll be running out, but I saw Adie chatting with Matt Coupe at Shortwood on Saturday, and jokingly asked him if we'd be getting him back, and he alluded to a possible friendly this week, but that he'd have to ask around to get a squad that could play it.
He was also a bit mysterious as to quite why we were playing such a short notice game - so it'll be interesting to see who actually turns out for us tomorrow.

Under 21 game maybe?
If anyone has £750,000 then you can come on for the last 5mins!

He's not the only one who finds it mysterious.

He was hinting that there was a very specific reason for playing it, but wouldn't give anything more away.
New player getting a run out? Publicity event? Helping a mate out for some as-yet unmentioned reason? Who knows! I'll still pop along and have a gander though.

We could certainly do with a player in the mould of Matt Coupe, but how he was 5 years ago.
He left Chippenham to go to Hungerford but a quick check has revealed they have let him move on already as they did not think he was better than what they had.

He was at Shortwood on Saturday, hadn't realised he'd left Chippenham.

Maybe Steve Elliott is back in the frame and the management want to see if he might slot in the team before Saturday.

I am hoping it is to give a final trial to one or two players - in particular Luke Matthews, who I think hasn't been signed yet!

We hammered Mallet.
And I didn't expect in 2015 to announce Matt Coupe being substituted by Jim Rollo.

I thought that was going to be that pic of Coupe treading on a Gloucester player's foot from all those years ago!

Cheers, no touching up on that either, he really was that angry!
Can't remember that one Mark, although I have managed to lose a load of pics from the mid 00's

I'm sure it was one where you'd zoomed in on his foot, would have been around 2005-06 at your old ground, which I miss despite our pretty mediocre record there!
I deleted a shedload of photos from mid 2000s a few months back. Came to the conclusion that I no longer need photos of players, out of focus, taken from the back of the main stand.
