Help - Charlie Pinker info or pictures
Hey for all those interested in past history of the club I am wondering if you could help someone I know. "My wife's Grandfather Charlie Pinker was a manager of the team a long time ago. She does not have any pictures of him, I was wondering if we could perhaps go to the club and see if they have pictures"
Does anyone know if there are any pics anywhere or does anyone with old programmes have and info the could help?
Much appreciated. Kelly.

Do you have a copy of the book 'Stars in Stripes'? It explains that Charlie Pinker was our manager either side of the First World War and was at the club when it played at both Belvoir and Lambridge. There are 3 team photos from that time on pages 21, 33 and 36. In each there are officials of the club and I assume Charlie is one of them. Unfortunately there are no names given. He is mentioned over several pages of text but only in passing.

The club has copies of the book available at the discounted price of £5.
A bargain for a well-produced book packed full of history. Particularly if you've got family members featured in it.
