Both bars open.
All players and management there.
Decent number of supporters there.
Working PA system.
Not a fiasco.

On the poplar side there is no certainty an announcement is heard
Apologies you've missed all of those. From a personal point of view if I was interested in what was going on with the End of Season Awards I would have contacted the club directly, even if it was weeks in advance. Problem solved.
The majority are not as pro-active as you.
Is it really that bad? I'll get Phil to look at it over the summer in that case. When I ask supporters to applaud the away club it doesn't seem to suddenly go silent on that side.
It went fine tonight. Wasn't dragged out, a lot of people stayed behind, job done.

I have offered to help in any way I can but there are limitations with my health problems.

Then it is a pity the organisers didn't say so before the day of the event; they had a few days to answer my questions.

Re: 14-15 End of Season Awards
In amongst all the nonsense the award winners for anyone who couldn't make it were:
Supporters Player : Dave Pratt
Players Player : Chas Hemmings
Managers Player : Frankie Artus
Golden Boot : Dave Pratt
Supporter : Bob Chester
Young Supporter : Tom Baer
Volunteer : Ron Davis
And there was a special award to a relative of Sue Gillard who has helped every game with catering etc but I'm afraid her name has escaped me!
Best moment was Ross standing up to accept managers player, not sure Archie saw the funny side.

That's strange, as your name is not on our list of those who have volunteered to help. Maybe you responded to Marc's request on here this week to help at today's match.

I might not be on your list but I have had conversations with others who are centrally involved in making the BIG Bath City bid.

In which case it's very strange that your name does not appear on our database. Perhaps they forgot your conversation.
Anyway, no problem - simply click on the link in my siggy to the Bid site and you can register your willingness to help. And I'll post my thanks to you on this thread as soon as possible afterwards!
Many thanks for your support...

In Beau Nash's defence I have indeed met with him - I assumed his name was already on the list. I certainly didn't forget the conversation
Getting back on topic, well done Thomas and all the other winners!
