Will Batten be suspended for 3 games?

Think its 1 for denying a goal opportunity, 3 for serious foul play and violent conduct.

Will be interesting to see if he slots back in immediately as Tomlinson had a decent game on Tuesday.

I see on the Boreham website that their man to watch is Scot Wilson
Well I've watched him for a while now i can tell them that it's pretty awful to watch . Nothing personal Scot just think you need a break . Maybe a loan to a lower league for a while

I thought we played really well against a strong, professional team. The second goal benefited from a great piece of quality from Boreham Wood and there was nothing much we could have done about it. Great to hear the fans backing the team again. Over 1,000 at TP despite loads of other things happening in Bath today.

I think the lads responded magnificently to their first goal and played better than in any other game I have seen this season. But we have very little attacking threat or even an ability to hold the ball up front so the Wood just had to wait for us to tire, which we did.
Is three games enough to decide Ben Seymour isn't good enough? I think it is.

Good game, unlucky to lose. Abysmal referee. At least we only had to endure one lot of Ashmore’s gamesmanship.

Seems incredible that Alves has appeared so infrequently as he provides about our only attacking threat. If the scout hasn’t joined the recent exodus from the Club he needs to be finding a goal scorer who can actually retain the ball and give an overworked defence a break.
I’ve changed my mind about needing to rearrange a game for next Saturday. This squad needs some recovery time and work on the training ground. Welling and Aveley next - two wins would be very, very welcome against fellow strugglers.
Batten has had an eventful fortnight - scores twice, red card, suspension, injured.

Re: Borehamwood
We were annoyingly deep the last 20. Inviting pressure on our seriously over worked defence. Teams don't seam to close down central defenders these days. Not just us. Every team. It invites pressure. I'd rather we pressured them more up the field and risked a 2 1 defeat in hope of a 2 1 win. We lost 2 1 any way but never pressed there defenders enough. Why did we not contest the drop ball when the ref blew. Raynes had it on the edge of the box. We didn't even go close to the drop ball. Until Clark returns I can't see much creativity. I looked away at the time but how did Ashmore end up in the net. We need at least 3 points from the next 2 games as were seriously in trouble.

Real junkyard referee, boring wood weren't the full time team they claim to be. As for Scott Wilson...he should be the first player the new manager let's go. Worst striker since whenever

I thought the Wood looked sharper as befits full time. They were first to any loose balls in midfield and we tired noticeably towards the end.
Our tactic seems to have changed from passing sideways to lumping it high down the left mostly - surprise surprise - it kept coming back.
Every goal kick, the players all bunched to the left and that's where it went, sometimes straight out of play. Surely some mileage in booting it down the right instead at a prearranged signal, into the vast empty space there so a City player can at least have a run at it.
We offered no threat at all second half and I agree Scottie needs a rest as does the team.
Ricardo Rees of Merthyr might be worth a look.
Great support today. We've been in the dumps before and we'll get through it.

I'm guessing Seymour is in the team as he makes Wilson look dynamic.

A classic Ashmore conning of the referee. Shouted “watch the pushing” with nobody anywhere near him, screamed and fell over. Pretending to be injured 2 minutes later was a nice touch.
