One of the most enjoyable games this season (only homes seen).
The official will not be getting a Christmas card from me this year.
Given the way the Mr. Lamport, showed his cards he missed a lot.
Why is it that linesmen give off-sides AFTER the ball is passed?
How Joel Nouble (No. 11) did not receive at least two yellows perplexes me.
Sorry. End of rant.

Not naive, simply unsure what you're referring to. I'm guessing you meant 'Why is it that linesmen give off-sides only when the second player touches the ball?'
Just as well you didn't attend the cup fixture at Billericay or you'd have gone into meltdown.

Isn't it the case that the receiving player has to touch the ball nowadays, because he can stand in an offside position as long as he isn't interfereing with play?
The lino on the poplar side looked very unsure of himself though. Didn't want to help the ref at all.
Not sure why we had to finish the game playing around the corner flag. We were two goals to the good and weren't exactly hanging on grimly.

Neither were Darlington in 2011, or Weston in 2016. Points win prizes. A young side showing the discipline to manage a game well in the later stages is all good with me.
