I read somewhere that we've recalled Rigg from Tivy, but we weren't going to recall Case. So this news explains that decision.

That's a strange one. They are rock bottom of the Southern Prem. Perhaps no recall meant he thought he had no option but he's better than Gosport.

From Luke Southwood's viewpoint the line up v H&W could be:

George, Jack B, Dan, Miles;
Opi,Tom, Sean, Jack C;
Antoine, Andy.

A pity City have lost Ryan as earlier in the season he looked one of the best players;  did he pick up any MotM awards?

I think he’s better than Gosport. Just unlucky to pick up an injury and form of others meant he couldn’t get back in.

Still, presumably his last touch in a league game was his goal at Weston.

Pretty sure I gave him motm in one of the Chelmsford cup games for the Chron.

Sorry to see him leave. I thought one of his best games was this season's at home to Wealdstone - following Jones' red card he moved back into defence and looked a natural there. Unfortunately those who can fill a variety of roles are often expendable. Good luck at Gosport, Ryan - quite a challenge to keep them up!

Gosport site reported 'The club can confirm that they have today signed Ryan Case from Bath City' - so perhaps they were not being completely open about things as from the above statement it would appear that they were saying he was now their player.
