Yes well done but keep your eyes off our players. It was bad enough losing Dave Pratt.

Good to have a proper derby game in Conference South at last (or at least one that doesn't get cancelled all the time, like WSM
Chippenham had over 1,100 at their game yesterday, so hopefully they'll bring a few punters to Twerton Park hen we play them.

Not sure when I prefer to play them. If it's away in August or April I could probably cycle and avoid the lack of parking and congestion afterwards. If it's December/January at least it means we shouldn't have postponements, I don't recall Chippenham suffering from many cancellations unlike our friends from Weston.

Re: Congratulations Chippenham Town!
The way the fixtures in this league are worked out we might play them on a Tuesday in February!
Really didn't understand why Truro home and Weston away were scheduled for Saturdays in February, when on Good Friday Weston were at home to Margate and Truro went to Welling not to mention of course that we went all the way to East Thurrock on Saturday. Surely it would have been more logical - a rare commodity I know for this league - at least for Truro to have played Weston (or one of them to have played us) and Margate Welling to have prevented long journeys on one of the busiest weekends of the year?
Surely it isn't impossible to look at August Bank Holiday/Christmas & New Year/Easter first when the fixtures are being drawn up to make sure that these are allocated local games before the rest are arranged.
It isn't just our league though - today for example I see in the National League that Forest Green are going to Southport and in League 2 Hartlepool are going to London to play Leyton Orient.

Re: Congratulations Chippenham Town!
I'm wondering when was the last season the fixture list gave us away trips on 3 successive Saturdays. And long ones at that. I know the retort from the league would be that we have today's home fixture in between, but that would get me started on bank holidays being used for matches at this level...

Still can't quite believe it to be honest, but delighted to have made it at long last! What an unforgiving league that is, not that I'm under any illusions about the National South. We'll have our work cut out, but if Hungerford can make a decent fist of it there's hope for us. Will be great to welcome Bath City back to Jericho :-)

You'll be fine. Prepare yourselves for some spectacularly dull away days and tedious ventures along the M4/M25, though.
