Presumably this would free up some playing budget to buy a more effective player who can make a positive contribution?

Not going anywhere according to GO in Chronicle.  Gives him great praise as a trainer but hasn't seen it on the pitch yet. Stuart couldn't ask for more. Let's hope one goes in off his backside.

Interesting comment from Gary that he hasn't seen much of him on the pitch. In recent games when we have only had 4 subs Fleetwood has been the one who hasn't been used so he hasn't really had much chance to show anything - in view of our recent shortcomings in front of goal he must feel a bit hard done by. Would be interesting to see him play alongside Marvin.

According to his Twitter, a loan move is pending and could be completed today. Hopefully he'll score a few and come back with his confidence restored!
