If there was controversy on the pitch yesterday, it was nothing compared to what happened in this compo. To summarise...

On Thursday the link to William Hill was posted, which just offered odds on the 3 results. This is the norm for this stage of the cup and yet further odds were apparently offered by Saturday morning. So anyone looking for the first time then would have had extra choice. I have decided to allow the bet made then to stand. In future cup/trophy games when just 3 sets of odds are offered, I may well limit bets to these whatever is later posted.

I believe that once posted, the odds at our level rarely change. However they clearly did for a draw. I have decided that Rudi's bet should be at the same odds as the rest of those who forecast a draw.

In the interests of our club, I won't even start on the issue of the replacement linesman except to say that his performance was excellent and I have no problem with the result of his prediction!

If anyone would like to appeal against any of these 3 decisions, please PM me!

Rudi, I don't think someone can be criticised for placing a bet which they see advertised. I can confirm that additional bets were displayed yesterday morning - I'm sure you're not suggesting that Roman Mike made up the odds for his bet.
